Delete your Lune Synth account
You can delete your Lune Synth account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
Open the app's settings and choose Delete Account, then confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you've been using Lune Synth as a guest
Guest sessions aren't tied to an email address, so there's no way to verify a deletion request for one. Two options:
- Add an email and password in the app to turn your guest session into an account — your missions, streak, and progress carry over — then delete the account using the steps above.
- Or simply uninstall the app. A guest session isn't recoverable without the device it was created on.
By email
If you can't access the app, email griffin@lunesynth.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity
- Your profile, display name, and any leaderboard entry
- Your missions, question sets, answers, and grading results
- Your uploaded files and handwriting scans
- Your progress, streaks, levels, and achievements
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recovery window and no archived copy to restore from.
What is retained, and why
- Voice recordings are never stored. Audio is transcribed and discarded in the same request; there is nothing to delete.
- Anonymised, non-identifying operational records that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Where the law requires a record to be kept, we keep only what is required and for no longer than required.
